About Us
We are a 2 (+1) first generation family owned farm. We are passionate about regenerative agriculture, food sovereignty, and applying permaculture values not only to our farming model but also our distribution model.
Farmer Hades (They/them) is a United States Marine Corps veteran and was a chef for the last 15 years. Now after retiring from the kitchen, Hades is excited to grow chemical-free produce at affordable prices for the community!
Farmer Maddie (They/them) has forever dreamed of setting off on this endeavor, and the timing couldn’t be better. While finishing up their degree in Wellness, Diet, and Food Systems, they are enjoying all the hard work that farming has presented so far! Maddie has a unique interest in food quality, choices, in relation to chronic pain, migraines, and nausea.
Our +1 is our youngest farmer, Magnolia! She has been such a joy, helping us set up the farm and she is very excited to help manage her own flower and produce garden plot on our farm!
Our Goals
Where do we start? We have so many, and with your support, we can make it all happen!
Our main goals to achieve as we are able to finance them are to:
- Add chicken layers and ducks so that we can offer you fresh eggs!
-Add as many fruits as possible, including things like berries, apple trees, peaches etc!
-Add an apiary to boost pollination, offer delicious honey, and use beeswax to use in some apothecary products.
-Build our greenhouse, so that we can add more warm weather plants and year-round produce!
-Expand the greenhouse, build a nursery and more.
